For more than 30 years, our modular process control system Plant iT has been used successfully for production plants of the process industry in the areas of automation, information and control technology. From operating data acquisition, process control technology, liquid handling and batch systems to functions for complete, location-independent production management (MES) and integration of ERP, LIMS and maintenance systems – all these processes can be continuously controlled and monitored using Plant iT.

All basic Plant iT systems have a central engineering environment with a shared database and an integrated parameterisation interface. All the modules can be optionally combined with the basic systems, ensuring that the appropriate Plant iT system can be implemented and extended easily according to the industry and production method.

Plant iT is an object-oriented and PLC-based process control system with integrated MES functionality developed by ProLeiT GmbH. It can be used in combination with PLCs from various manufacturers and is available in five language versions. This high level of flexibility is one of the reasons why automation solutions based on Plant iT and brewmaxx are used in more than 110 countries around the globe.

Plant iT complies with the principle of “parameterisation instead of programming”. This means that individual programming is basically replaced by the parameterisation of technical and technological functions. The “compiler-less” system architecture of Plant iT allows maximum flexibility for alterations during operation. Alterations to the control system are even possible without stopping production. This time-saving benefit creates a significant competitive advantage – for us and our customers.

Engineering with Plant iT takes place according to standardised methods. Standard functions, e.g. predefined automation classes, ensure that the process control system is transparent. Alterations and extensions can thus always be traced and multiplied – a safe investment solution for the future.

Plant Acquis iT

Production Data Management

With Plant Acquis iT, process, operating, machine and energy data is recorded, processed, archived and provided for plant-wide information management.

Besides simple production data acquisition (PDA) or operating data acquisition, it additionally enables the ad-hoc evaluation of the recorded data and its visualisation.

Plant Direct iT

Process control system

Plant Direct iT is neither a SCADA nor a HMI nor a DCS. Plant Direct iT is an open, PLC-based process control system with an extensive set of technical and technological automation classes.

The range of technical basic classes includes a basically equipment-neutral functionality, e.g. valves, drives, measured values and controllers, and highly-qualified equipment-specific functions, e.g. for parameterising and controlling frequency converters.

Plant Integrate iT

MES, Reporting & Analytics

Plant Integrate iT allows the “visualisation” of all production data. A key prerequisite for achieving this objective is integrated information management at MES level, which can be integrated and operated infinitely across process sequences and departments.

Plant Integrate iT can be used to merge and evaluate the required data from individual production areas. Access to this central information platform via Internet Browser occurs using Microsoft standard software and therefore provides maximum flexibility and protection when realising company-wide MES reporting systems.
