Growth generates jobs: ProLeiT welcomes 500th employee

Herzogenaurach software firm continues to expand

The solution provider for industrial automation, process control technology and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) recently welcomed M.Sc. Tobias Schmidt as its 500th employee to the firm’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The computer scientist completed his master’s degree at Nuremberg Tech in the late summer and now supports ProLeiT at its Pharmaceutical, Food & Chemical Centre of Excellence.

“In addition to the many new impressions, I think it’s marvellous that you start directly with an extensive training programme. You take part in an intensive familiarisation session and are immediately integrated into the work processes,” says Tobias when asked what he liked in particular shortly after joining ProLeiT.

The management team are also delighted with the new recruit. Chairman Wolfgang Ebster explains: “Each new employee shows us that we are seen as an attractive employer.”

The global company recently celebrated the official opening of its new building in Herzogenaurach. Featuring roughly 4,500 square metres of ultra-modern office space, ProLeiT has taken constant growth into account and at the same time created the ideal foundations for new innovative ideas and services.

The positive order situation and an array of new customer projects ensure strong long-term growth for the software firm. This in turn demands the continuous hiring of new employees. There are currently more than 20 vacancies available, including apprenticeships and jobs for students: Candidates can, for instance, already apply to join a ProLeiT apprenticeship course in 2019. The company offers young people a great start to their careers as IT specialists for application development or system integration, or through a bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering. Students are able to gain valuable practical experience as an intern, working student or while completing their degree thesis and to enhance their professional development by making new contacts. Talented young people are always welcome. Visit www.proleit.de/karriere to discover everything you need to know about working at ProLeiT.
