in Nuremberg, 26 - 28 November 2019, Hall 5 / Stand 5-460
ProLeiT, the solution provider for industrial automation, process control technology and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), will present its in-house developed modular Plant iT and brewmaxx process control systems at SPS – one of the largest international exhibitions for electric automation technology in Nuremberg from 26 to 28 November 2019 – in Hall 5, Stand 5-460. The highlight of the exhibition will be the unveiling of the new system update 9.70, which includes the following innovative functions: OPC UA Server, High Attention Library, Interactive Curve Viewer and new automation classes for the SIMATIC controllers S7 1511-1515.
ProLeiT will also be exhibiting current trends in the field of ‘Modular Production’. Under the slogan ‘Mobilize the Control Room’, innovative application examples will be additionally demonstrated for mobile apps, Software as a Service and artificial intelligence.
System update 9.70: quicker and more secure data exchange with the OPC UA Server
A key feature of the system update 9.70 is the OPC UA Server. It is therefore possible to exchange process and production data quickly and securely with partner systems before processing the data further, if necessary. Partner systems can be, for example, SCADA, MES, ERP or quality management systems with an OPC UA client interface. This enables continuous communication from individual sensors and actuators to the ERP level. Built-in security mechanisms ensure maximum IT security – ideal for implementing Industry 4.0 applications.
New add-on: Plant Direct iT Maintenance / brewmaxx Maintenance
The efficient and predictive maintenance of plants is elementary for companies in order to achieve maximum plant availability. With the brewmaxx Maintenance and the Plant Direct iT Maintenance add on, ProLeiT offers a compact, fully configurable maintenance management solution that enables the evaluation and planning of all maintenance measures – both for individual automation objects, such as valves or motors, as well as entire packaging units, e.g. compressors or packaging plants.
Presentation: Orchestration of Modular Production
Current trends in the field of modular automation will be on show at SPS. To tie in with this, the presentation ‘Orchestration of Modular Production’ will be given in the VDMA Forum (Hall 5) on 26 November 2019 from 10am - 10.20am and in the Forum Hall 10 on 27 November 2019 from 05:20 pm - 05:40 pm. It shows what state-of-the-art batch orchestration for the flexible and modular factory of tomorrow will look like at ProLeiT – regardless of the process modules in which the procedures (sequences) are mapped. A key aspect of the presentation is the future standard MTP (Module Type Package) and its added value for the process industry.
Use cases for mobile apps, Software as a Service and artificial intelligence
‘Mobilize the Control Room’ – taking this slogan to heart, ProLeiT has developed numerous innovative apps and will be presenting several use cases for mobile apps, Software as a Service, video assistance and artificial intelligence at SPS. For example, operating dialogues for brewmaxx / Plant iT are displayed directly on smartphones. The process area monitor, on the other hand, shows operators exactly where their attention is required within the plant. Furthermore, one use case will demonstrate how artificial intelligence can provide real added value for automation.
Plant Integrate iT / brewmaxx Integrate: MES, reporting and analyses
Plant Integrate iT and brewmaxx Integrate allow full insight into all production processes. A key prerequisite for achieving this objective is continuous information management at MES level, which can be integrated and operated infinitely across process sequences and departments. Our MES solution can merge and evaluate the required data from the individual production areas at a central location. Numerous properties, such as configurable reports for web browsers and mobile end devices, provide maximum flexibility and protection when implementing a company-wide MES reporting system.
The Plant Integrate iT Workflow / brewmaxx Integrate Workflow add-on – an MES workflow management system – can be used in conjunction with our MES solution. With the aid of this add-on, it is possible to manage and monitor automatic and manual processes, for example in order processing and quality assurance.
