ProLeiT at Powtech in Nuremberg

The undisputed number one for powder, granule and bulk solids technologies - the trade fair Powtech - opens its doors from April 23 till 25, 2013 in Nuremberg. Visit ProLeiT in hall 6 / booth 355 and find out more about our industry-specific automation solutions. All exhibits are already successfully in use at our customers and thus have proven their high reliability and performance. Also try our latest system generation Plant iT V9 and learn more about our new usability concept. Plant iT - process control technology. MES included.

The following exhibits will be on display at our Powtech booth:

Bionorica SE:
This manufacturer of phytopharmaceutical products, with its headquarters in Neumarkt, awarded ProLeiT a contract for the replacement of the outdated control system in its vacuum drying plant by a modern ProLeiT control system with a new SIMATIC S7 controller. The drying of herbal extracts is now managed by Plant Batch iT V8.10. Plant iT provided the basis for major process optimisation – the drying times of extracts could be significantly reduced whilst also improving the quality. In addition, the exhibit will demonstrate its compliance with the requirements for pharmaceutical products as well as the acquisition and logging of relevant production data also enables product traceability within production.

Fresh Start Bakeries:
At the industry’s leading manufacturer of premium-bakery products, ProLeiT automated, at the Polish plant of Fresh Start Bakeries near Breslau, the silo plant for dosing and dough mixing for delivery to the bun-, tortilla- and croissant line via Plant Batch iT V8.20. The aim was to create an integrated solution that delivers the data of the silo plant, along with the data of the production lines to the higher-level SAP system. The Plant iT LMS Line Management System is used to transmit the data via Plant iT MES to the SAP system. The exhibit shows the entire automation of the silo plant - from the silo delivery, the production of pre-dough, yeast and saline solution, dosing of connected production lines through to the container station and CIP system.

KWS SAAT AG:
For more than 150 years, KWS has been breeding crops for temperate climates. For the production of sugar beet seed the existing plant, which was automated by Plant iT V5.20 several years ago, is migrating to the latest system generation Plant iT V9. In addition to the upgrade of the machine house, the plant is going to be extended by a grinding mill and two dust collector plants and the order management system is going to be connected to SAP completely. The project is divided into three project stages. The exhibit will show project stage 1 and 2: automation of the machine houses with Plant iT V9. The third and last project stage will be finished in 2014 and completes the migration to the latest system generation Plant iT V9 by integrating the suspension plant, treatment application and conveyors to different silo groups.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Nuremberg from April 23 to 25, 2013 hall 6 / booth 355.
