The Hannover Messe opens its doors again from April 17 - 21, 2023. Come and discover this year's main topics such as CO2-neutral production, energy management, Industry 4.0 and AI & Machine Learning.
At the Schneider Electric booth, our ProLeiT trade fair team will also be on site, with a colorful mix of different industry experts. Visit us from April 17 to 21 in hall 11, booth C46.
If you have any questions before the event or would like to make an appointment with our team, feel free to contact us: marketing@proleit.com

Batch management for modular processing plants
The Batch Orchestration System (BOS) from ProLeiT is equipped to meet all the challenges of batch management. It creates a flexible environment for plant operators who have to respond quickly to dynamic changes in the market. It is platform independent and can, therefore, be implemented effectively and efficiently in existing production plants.
Systems to manage, monitor and control batch processes are at the heart of the solution. The BOS offers a wide range of options for interacting with running orders: recipes can be optimized and expanded dynamically and standardized at any time. These optimizations have the potential to significantly reduce material losses. And thus benefit the effective and sustainable use of resources. User-friendly dashboards allow you to prepare key figures in real time and provide valuable insights, for example, into process sequences or plant utilization.
Line Management - less downtime, more efficiency
Even the shortest amount of downtime reduces the effectiveness of a plant significantly. Within this context, our Line Management System (LMS) is a great solution and helps to determine the causes. The add-on runs independently of the plant manufacturer. Thanks to several time accounts (for production, setup, CIP, etc.), you are able to calculate a number of KPIs, e.g. OEE. At Hannover Messe, see for yourself and be amazed at how our LMS enables precise evaluations – even when changing orders during plant production runs.
Smart apps - full-scale production at the tips of your fingers
How efficiently machines and plants can be monitored and controlled depends largely on whether access to the relevant data is guaranteed. And this is where our apps, Smart Control and Smart Units, come into their own. Monitor the performance of your production lines flexibly and in real time.
Innovation Talks on the booth – “Theater” area
More highlights are the two presentations of our colleagues Dr. Thomas Wunderlich (Make plant processes (energetically) more sustainable to get the energy price inflation under control) and Andreas Brülls (Process optimization - Digital transformation for complete production with Plant iT Batch Orchestration System (BOS)).
The content of Dr. Thomas Wunderlichs’ presentation revolves around the following:
Even if economic forecasts show that the current level of inflation in Germany is not set to increase further, we must be prepared for continued high energy prices due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
However, if you look at the processes in the various food production sectors, effective methods of recording and/or analyzing the relevant energy flows and associated costs are often still in the early stages, especially when it comes to production.
ProLeiT GmbH, as the supplier of automation solutions for food and beverage production, has therefore taken up this topic. The company offers process and production-related solutions to make existing data accessible and thus analyzable using the simplest means possible, thereby ensuring a rapid and sustainable overview of consumption to enable its control.
In the featured presentation, problems are presented briefly to access relevant data. Using examples, solutions are shown to unlock potential energy savings and to combat further energy cost hikes in your plant.
The lecture by Andreas Brülls deals with the following:
Demanding customer requirements, short product life cycles and an ever-increasing number of variants: Manufacturing companies face a wide range of challenges. Those who can adapt quickly have a clear competitive advantage. This can only be achieved with production systems that are scalable, modular and highly adaptable. This presentation impressively demonstrates the potential of modular automation, how digitalization enables new optimizations and the central role of a state-of-the-art, high-level control system for the orchestration of the various processes and modules within the batch industry.
