Herzogenaurach, June 10, 2024 – ProLeiT has announced the appointment of Jürgen Wölfl as its new Managing Director, effective June 1, 2024. He succeeds outgoing CEO Friedrich Richter, who has held this position at ProLeiT since June 2022 and is now preparing to take on the role of Senior Vice President – Industrial Automation Services at Schneider Electric.
In his new position, Jürgen Wölfl can draw on his wealth of experience and industry expertise that he has accumulated over his 25-plus-year career at ProLeiT GmbH. He has built an excellent network in the automation industry and successfully demonstrated his leadership skills working in various management roles – most recently as Global Head of Delivery at the ProLeiT Group.
As Vice President ProLeiT Software Services / Managing Director, Jürgen Wölfl is responsible for further expanding ProLeiT’s extensive range of standardized solution and product software, driving forward the company’s international growth plans and intensifying the existing synergistic effects with Schneider Electric/AVEVA.

Friedrich Richter, who has been CEO at ProLeiT since 2022, will take up the role of Senior Vice President – Industrial Automation Services at Schneider Electric on June 1, 2024. During his time at ProLeiT, Friedrich Richter significantly contributed to overseeing post-merger integration and enhancing the synergistic effects between ProLeiT and Schneider Electric/AVEVA. In his new role, he will be responsible for the development and implementation of the growth strategy for Industrial Automation Services for Schneider Electric, including ProLeiT Business.
