Migration of the existing Siemens PCS7 system for an additive manufacturing plant to the Plant iT software family. 

The Plant Direct iT module was utilized for the process control function and Plant Acquis iT was used for production data management.
In addition, all of the structures were already prepared for subsequent linking of the Plant Batch iT module with integrated materials management and job administration. This also laid the foundation for transferring production jobs from the operational SAP system in future and dispatching these directly to the batch system job administration.
