ProLeiT at Brau Beviale from November 10 to 12, 2010

ProLeiT will present a large number of sector-specific solutions tailored to meet the requirements of the brewing and beverage industry.

Report Designer brewmaxx  V 8.2  released

The current V 8.2 release of the Report Designer represents a very special highlight. This tool enables plant operators to define parameters for the particularly convenient and precise customization of reports to their specific needs. To set up a report, the Report Designer represents all product, process and order information available in the database – such as the order and batch number along with each individual process sequence step including the sequencer, sequence parameters and materials management data on incoming and outgoing material (if required).

This new reporting tools will be used for the first time at the Egger Brewery in Unterradlberg/Austria.
In 2010, this medium-sized brewery consistently automated its facilities on the basis of brewmaxx from the brewhouse up to the filter with the objective to implement a consistent output and loss monitoring solution.  In addition to the entire process control technology, the materials management system integrated in brewmaxx, even including batch tracking, along the consistent reporting tool across all process steps will be on display at the trade fair stand.

TUM Weihenstephan test brewery on Mitsubishi platform

With the support of Mitsubishi Electric, the pilot brewing plant of the Faculty for Disperse Systems at Weihenstephan has been migrated to a MELSEQ system Q  controller on the basis of brewmaxx. The lean solution implemented in order to meet the specific requirements of this use case focuses on user friendliness, precise process sequence documentation and the option of capturing energy data according to individual process steps.

Brewhouse automation with ControlLogix

On behalf of the Brazilian Schincariol group, DAP, an affiliate of Dedini/ProLeiT, is automating the Alagoinhas brewery in the north east of Brazil using a brewmaxx solution based on Rockwell Automation PACs.  The first brewing process is already scheduled to take place in 2010.
This brewing plant is the first specific example where the entire scope of function of brewmaxx-Liqu iT on the Rockwell platform has been implemented via a brewmaxx solution based on a V 8.2.

Line monitoring for bottling plants

The application implemented for SABMiller in Ulyanovsk/Russia can be quoted as a prime example of a high-end MES packaging solution – customized to the specifications of the 2005 Weihenstephaner Standards. It provides all the features required for a modern brewery – including the transfer of order and material master data from the ERP system, the provision and checking of packaging material in the line, the control of printers and labeling machines along with the return of quantities produced and consumption data.

Plant iT – PCS applications for soft drink production plants

The exhibit, a sirup room automated at Gaensefurther Schlossquelle, is a classical modernization project. Converted during production, with integration of the CIP, the tank farm and the water house. The materials management system integrated in Plant Batch iT ensures full batch tracking from the finished product up to the waterhouse.

We would like to invite you to visit us at the ProLeiT stand.  Our specialists will be available to welcome you –  and are looking forward to exchanging interesting sector information with you.
