ProLeiT was responsible for the automation of the entire dairy - from the receipt of milk up to filling based on the Plant iT V8 system family. The Plant Direct iT software modules are used for monitoring and visualization, Plant Acquis iT serves for data acquisition and reporting, Plant Liqu iT for the sequence control of continuous processes, and Plant Batch iT provides the basis for recipe management and incoming order processing in the mixing and filling area. The hardware for the entire product and materials management is based on Plant iT material. The Plant iT connect module provides the connection to the higher-level ERP (SAP). In-coming orders are processed at the NÖM head office in Baden (Austria), and actual values and inventories are forwarded to the SAP system from the Telford-based ProLeiT system. The consistent automation solution ensures batch tracking and order management across all process levels and even for systems engineering components from different suppliers.
