ProLeiT picks up the guiding idea of Anuga Foodtec for the field of automation – that is to cover all aspects of the production process, the packaging, up to the filling and distribution areas in a multi-sectoral and process-oriented way.
ProLeiT focuses on process control solutions with integrated MES functionality for the milk-processing and beverage industry.
But also multi-sectoral application examples for energy and production data management will be presented.
Plant iT dairy, the sector-specific solution for the milk business
Plant iT dairy was especially developed for the milk processing industry and covers the very specific demands of a dairy with it’s optimized software modules. Among others this comprises solutions for the milk processing, a journey management for the milk collecting trucks, an operation data acquisition for milk filling lines and batch tracking for baby-food.
Plant Batch iT, with integrated materials management and recipe optimization for beverage blending plants
For the production of non-alcoholic beverages a consistent application of a beverage blending plant in combination with production data management and efficiency control (OEE) for filling and packaging lines will be presented.
The automation solution in this example ensures efficient adjustment of the different production processes and enables detailed tracking & tracing of the single batches.
Process control engineering, including MES-functions
A further example demonstrates the complete control technology of a multi-blending plant for the production of acid mixture for conservation and improvement of animal fodder and milk substitutes for calves, young pigs and other farm animals.
This plant was automated consistently on the basis of Plant iT – comprising the logistics with the goods arrival, the pallet management and the shipping as well as the complete materials management for production, filling and packaging with coupling to SAP/R3.
Energy data acquisition and peak shaving
Concerning this subject, which is currently a burning issue, we will not only present approaches by means of application examples for breweries and dairies but rather concrete savings potential due to energy data acquisition and peak shaving.
