Selters Mineralquelle Augusta-Victoria GmbH, Löhnberg-Selters/Germany - Automation solution and plant data acquisition

 

"Sekt (German champagne) or Selters" is a familiar German expression. In Germany, Selters is synonymous with mineral water. In the course of rebuilding the service water and mineral water processing plant at the Selters Mineralquelle Augusta Victoria GmbH, the previous manual operation was replaced with a decentralized automation device based on PROFIBUS DP. The installed ProLeiT Plant iT process control system, consisting of the Plant Direct iT (process control system), Plant Liqu iT (for the visualization) and Plant Acquis iT (for the plant data acquisition) components, allowed the areas of the water deferrization and softening, the mineral water processing, and the filling of tanks for the bottles and keg filling plant to be controlled and monitored. The Radeberger Group, as parent company, placed great value on the detailed recording of consumables. The Plant Acquis iT that now contains the plant data acquisition with all quality assurance and environmentally relevant basic data makes it easier for the customer to quickly and simply provide data for reports of the management systems.
