Brauerei Gebr. Maisel KG, Bayreuth/Germany - Modernization of the brewhouse for

 

The brewhouse modernization of the Maisel brewery has been continued consistently. Within the framework of a mechanical extension (biological acidization), the existing OS 155 process control system was replaced by a new BREWMAXX-NT system. A BDE server based on the BREWMAXX-IDS was installed in addition to the conventional brewhouse automation.
Communication was ensured via an H1 bus and the yeast/air/brine plant sections were interfaced by means of an L2 bus. In addition to this, a science-based analytical regulation (WAR) was implemented in cooperation with the Zittau university college.
