Bavaria N.V., Lieshout/Netherlands - Automation of the brewhouse

The entire brewhouse of the Bavaria brewery in Lieshout has been automated, from the receipt of the malt to wort cooling. The previous Braumat PA 5700 controller was replaced with a brewmaxx-system V7.1 with new sequence logic. The solution comprises 4 operator stations, 1 server and 2 Simatic S7 controllers linked via IM 463-2 to the existing Simatic S5 peripherals. Of particular note is the installed vacuum vaporization from the company Ziemann that was also integrated in the brewmaxx-system.
