BASF Construction Polymers GmbH, Glöthe/Germany - Automation of a production plant

 

In recent years, ProLeiT has continuously expanded the production plant for liquid concrete additives. In addition to the improvement of the flexibility of the process management, a complete new blending line, including the homogenization, additional truck loading bays and receiving, and the complete new construction of a finished product tank depot has been extended, including the control of the filling plant.
The partner here was Infraserv Höchst Technik GmbH based in Frankfurt. ProLeiT supplied the SIEMENS process components and valve islands produced by Bürkert Corp., while Infraserv installed the mechanical and electrical components for the complete new construction and upgrading. To minimize interruptions to the running production, the changes and extensions were made almost exclusively during running operations.
