Implementation of a process control system for the areas of construction chemicals, flame protection compounds, 2 dissolvers and storage tanks with supply silos. These are used in the manufacture of fire protection compounds and compounds for the manufacture of compound dowels.
The Plant Batch iT system used, guarantees batch tracing, fully automatic, recipe-controlled metering, and the visualization of the process plants, with the option of manual operation of each individual actuator. Intervention in partly and fully automatic processes, as well as the checking and the adjustment of plant and metering parameters, is also possible. For the automation of the processes, a SIMATIC S7-400 controller has been implemented for each area. In terms of PC facilities, the system is equipped with a data server for the storage, logging and archiving of process data, with four operator stations for the monitoring, visualization and operation of the plants, and with an engineering station.
