Joint Project: Huppmann / ProLeiT
On October 1st, 2003, Hrch. Huppmann GmbH, based in Kitzingen and ProLeiT AG, in Herzogenaurach, consolidated their cooperative alliance further.
"PRECIS" is the name given to the new business division of the Huppmann enterprise, which, in cooperation with ProLeit AG, offers modern plant technology with intelligent process automation.
Both companies have been working closely together since 1997: the shared subsidiary brewmaxx supplies process and equipment instrumentation and control for the brewing industry. PRECIS was established in response to the increasing demand from other sectors for compatible hard- and software solutions.
Related sectors from the food and non-food sector benefit in particular from the already established standards in the equipment construction and process automation.
Hrch. Huppmann GmbH is among the international leaders in plant and equipment construction for the brewery and foods industry. In addition to their main activities in container and equipment construction, Huppmann also manufactures, for example, energy storage systems and cooling technology for industrial applications.
ProLeiT AG supplies solutions and systems worldwide for process and equipment I&C in the process industry. The solutions are based on the ProLeit system range Plant iT, with the appropriate technological engineering for the sector concerned. In addition to the brewery and beverages industry, the other main areas of activity for ProLeit are the food industry and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
