Manfred Czepl was born on 4 March 1957 in Hallein / Austria. After his education as an engineer at the HTBL, "Höhere technische Bundeslehr- und -versuchsanstalt" (Upper Technical Federal Education and Research Institute) for Electrical Engineering, he started his professional career in Germany, working six years for Siemens AG as a commissioning engineer. Manfred Czepl was responsible for implementing plant automation in the paper and food industries. In this area he also took charge of system development and customer training.
Wolfgang Ebster was born on 3 February 1960 in Saalfelden / Austria. Ebster too was educated as an engineer at a HTBL for Electrical Engineering. His professional course also brought him to Siemens AG in Erlangen, where as a commissioning engineer he was responsible for implementing plant automation in the automotive, plastic-processing and food industries.
1986 Manfred Czepl and Wolfgang Ebster founded Proleit as "PROLEIT, private limited company for technology oriented process control engineering". From a small engineering company with initially two employees, ProLeiT AG has in the meantime become a global player in the automation of process technology systems and has more than 150 employees.
Manfred Czepl is COO of ProLeiT AG and primarily concerned with all sales and marketing activities of the ProLeiT Group. Wolfgang Ebster is CEO and mainly focuses on the corporate planning and strategy as well as on the financial controlling.
